Minnesota is stepping up. And it is not happening by accident.
Six months after the mass shooting at Church of the Annunciation in Minneapolis, our members across Minnesota have been organizing, speaking out, and demanding action. They have pushed their leaders to meet the urgency of this moment.
Now, Governor Walz has introduced a bold gun safety package that includes an assault weapons ban and a high-capacity magazine ban.

This is what people power looks like.
Gun violence is the leading cause of death for young people in America. When states invest in prevention and accountability, lives are saved. Our members in Minnesota understood that. They refused to let tragedy fade into silence. They organized until their state responded.
But we cannot stop at one state.
March For Our Lives is building a national movement powered by young people who are exposing the gun lobby and pushing for real legislative action. The same energy driving change in Minnesota is what we are scaling across the country.
We are proud of our Minnesota members. And we are just getting started.
