The Trump administration is rolling back more than three dozen gun regulations — including rules meant to crack down on illegal gun sales, require background checks for certain private sales, and keep guns out of dangerous hands.
That’s not “freedom.” That’s a deliberate choice to make it easier for the gun lobby to sell more weapons with fewer rules and less accountability.
And we know who pays the price: our schools, our neighborhoods, our families, and every young person forced to grow up wondering if they’ll be next.
March For Our Lives was founded by young people who survived the consequences of weak gun laws and political cowardice.
We’ve watched lawmakers send thoughts and prayers after tragedy after tragedy — then turn around and hand the gun lobby exactly what it wants.
This latest move is part of the same dangerous playbook: less oversight, fewer protections, and more guns flowing into our communities.
