This month, we honored the eight year anniversary of the life-changing shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Eight years after the shooting, we still carry the names, the faces, and the promise we made to each other that day: we would do everything in our power to stop this from happening again.
We’re not just remembering. We’re organizing, training, and mobilizing the next generation of leaders who will fight for gun violence prevention.
Since Parkland we’ve won concrete victories: a federal Office of Gun Violence Prevention, state laws that have saved lives, and thousands of young people mobilized to hold officials accountable.
But gun violence still takes far too many lives every year, and the powerful gun lobby keeps blocking the change we desperately need.
Thank you for believing in this work,
