Meet Zoe:

Zoe Touray was a typical teen when she experienced the unthinkable at Oxford High School—a school shooting. You never think these things will happen to you until they do.

The Oxford shooting stole her innocence. That day, she texted her mom that she loved her, climbed out a school window and ran for her life. She lost four friends and classmates. But Zoe isn’t just a survivor; she’s a fighter.

Since that fateful day in 2021, she’s turned her pain into purpose and advocated for gun safety and improved mental health care across the country.

She’s spoken with leaders like VP Kamala Harris and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. She advocated with us and helped WIN a sweeping package of policies that included universal background checks, safe storage, and red flag laws in Michigan. And she was instrumental in March For Our Lives’ work to pass the first federal gun safety law in thirty years—the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

We are inspired by her bravery in using her voice to demand change. Here’s what she has to say:

“No student should have to run from gunfire in their school. No family should have to bury their child. Gun violence isn’t normal, and we won’t stop until it ends.”

Join Zoe and countless others in this fight. This isn’t just her story—it’s our responsibility. When you support MFOL, you’re strengthening the voices of young people like Zoe across the country.

We are fighting for a world where what happened to Zoe, her classmates and teachers never happens again. No other kids should have to know what it’s like to be shot at, especially at school.

Let’s make that future a reality.

Thank you,

Team March For Our Lives

Your Personal Invite To the Movement Fund 💌💙
At March For Our Lives, we call our monthly supporter program The Movement Fund.
Why are monthly recurring donors so important? The amount of one-time individual donations we receive as an organization varies vastly from month to month.
Without a steady stream of monthly donations coming in our door, it would be impossible to accurately plan our budgets, create long-term strategies to win a future free from gun violence, plan and execute on-the-ground organizing efforts, recruit and train more gun safety champions, and more.
One of the best ways that you can help sustain our movement is by becoming a recurring monthly donor. Can you sign up today?
