March For Our Lives – April 11, 2025

We’ve been sounding the alarm for years: the gun industry is flooding our communities with guns — and politicians have let them.

But now, because of pressure from young organizers and survivors, Congress is finally moving. Senator Heinrich just introduced two new bills:

👉 The GOSAFE Act and the BUMP Act — legislation designed to stop the industry’s deadly business model in its tracks and close up critical loopholes that lead to mass murder.

These bills would:

  • Ban bump stocks and machine gun conversion devices
  • Regulate semi-automatic firearms based on how dangerous they actually are — not cosmetic features that can easily be modified by manufacturers 
  • Require magazines to be permanently fixed and cap capacity
  • Stop profiteers from stockpiling deadly weapons

These bills are a direct response to our movement’s pressure. We wouldn’t be here without your support.  

Now Congress needs to decide: Will they stand with us? Or with the gun lobby?

If your representatives vote no, we’ll remember. If they vote yes, it’ll be because we pushed them there.
