Thank you- Phone Banking and Canvassing
Thank you to all who are helping with our canvassing and phone banking efforts. We are experiencing a huge success. I received this message yesterday from Susan Todd
“750 DOORS were knocked between Friday & Monday!! It’s harder to reach people on weekdays, but we still managed to add 132 doors to our total yesterday.MAJOR THANKS are also due to our many CALLERS, who have made 878 calls since mid-September– largely to Benton County precincts where it’s hard for our candidates knock on doors. Take courage! We have only 20 days (and 15 hours) till the Election!”
We really need your help canvassing and doorbelling. We use the minivan app which will provide you with a list of names to contact. It’s simple. You can do it on your own, with a friend or come down to the WW County Democrats office in the Die Brucke building in Walla Walla. We have “burner phones” available if you prefer not to use your own phone. For Tri-Cities supporters there is a Benton-Franklin Dem office at 1901 George Washington Way in Richland
In Walla Walla we meet every Friday at 4:30 PM at the WWCD in the Die Brucke building for pizza and libations. It’s a great way to contribute to our cause of electing Democrats and having some fun. It’s a great way to make new friends who share our concerns about our Democracy.

Woodward Canyon Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Debbie Frol and Darcey Small- Fugman are hosting a unique fundraiser at the Drayman House in Walla Walla for Linda on October 22 at 6PM. We will be tasting a vertical of Woodward Canyon wines from the 1990s. Rick Small will be sharing with us his musings about the wines. Tim Caudil is teasing us with the possibility of a 1961 Bordeaux if we sell out the event. Seating is limited to 12 people and we are asking for a $500 donation per person to attend. You can reach out to me at drlgun@yahoo.com if you would like to be sent an invitation.
CookoutLinda has been invited to speak on the evening of October 26 at the kick off event marking a collaboration between Running Waters Equity and Pro-Choice Washington. They are hosting a cookout at the Pioneer Park Garden Center. Come share in the fun and connect to the positive energy.
Campaign Updates
- Linda recently participated in the candidates forum at Rotary. You can view this at the Rotary Candidate Forum
- Linda has recently done a TV interview with KNDU and we will let you know when that is available.
- Ballots drop this Friday October 19. Be sure to look for yours and turn it around ASAP
- Linda wants to meet you, your friends and your service organizations. Please contact us at drlgun@yahoo.com and we can find a time to get together.
- And finally, TV commercials and digital ads will be coming out on October 22.
Fundraising
The TV and digital ad buy is pricey. Linda’s fundraising goal for the end of October is $7,000. We have been doing very well with small donors compared to the incumbent, who has raised all of his money from PACs and large corporate donors. Keep the momentum going with a small donation today.
Thank you for your continued support!
Sincerely,
Dr. Linda Gunshefski
