We’ve been building for this moment all year.
We promised this primary season would be jam-packed — and it was. We racked up 34 primary wins this cycle, some of whom took out entrenched incumbents and are already expected to win in November. Others are in competitive red-to-blue races, which is where we’ll now be turning our focus in the sprint to Election Day.
This primary season, we proved that Leaders We Deserve is a real movement. People are ready for change, and we’re proving that when we show up, run great candidates, and do it all without corporate cash, we can have real influence in our politics. I’m so proud of all that we’ve accomplished so far this year, and I am looking forward to the history we’re still going to make together this November. Thank you for making this progress possible.
Because of your grassroots support, we’re drawing the blueprint for how young people can win these fights, even against long odds. And even when we fall short, we are moving the needle of progress and laying the foundation for future progressive victories.
Every one of these races represents an opportunity to break the GOP’s grip on power. Every red seat we flip is a chance to put a real check on Trump’s authoritarian agenda. That’s why we’re giving this fight everything we’ve got.
None of our candidates take corporate PAC money. They don’t answer to the ultra-rich donor class. Instead, they answer to people like you who sent them into the arena — and that’s exactly what makes them the right people to be in it.
