The Trump administration has made its priorities clear:
They don’t want an educated America. And they will make future generations dumber if we don’t stop them.
Instead of supporting education for the people of this country, they’ve:
❌Issued an executive order eliminating the Department of Education
❌Gutted public schools while prioritizing private interests
❌ Turned student debt into a lifelong burden
❌ Slashed funding for programs that help working-class students succeed
Why? Because they have a distorted view of what students should know. They don’t want to teach the history of slavery, any topic that touches on racial injustice, climate change, books written by people from marginalized identities, any perspective that might give a negative framing of our country’s history.
It’s pathetic and will make our country and kids worse off.
But we are fighting back.
Young people know that education is power.
They know that neighborhood schools, trade programs, and universities aren’t just institutions — they’re pathways to a better life.
That’s why we need leaders who will protect and expand education, not destroy it.
The right is banking on us staying quiet. Let’s prove them wrong.
