Leaders We Deserve – June 14, 2025

Today, Donald Trump turns 79.

And like a true authoritarian, he’s celebrating with a military parade.

While Trump basks in his delusions of grandeur, Americans across the country are rising up in “No Kings” protests because we sure as hell don’t support a wannabe dictator who is actively working to harm our future and dismantle our democracy.

Let’s be blunt: Trump’s an example of everything that’s wrong about our politics.

And what he represents — a broken, corrupt, failing political system — is exactly the reason we need to elect a new generation of bold, progressive leadership.

Leaders who don’t need parades. Leaders who don’t criminalize protest.

Leaders who actually fight for the people.

That’s what Leaders We Deserve is all about.

We’re organizing a massive political movement to elect young progressives who know what’s at stake — because we’ve lived it. And we’re tired of waiting our turn while corrupt politicians like Trump try to burn it all down and threaten our futures.
