Lauren has been on the frontlines winning the tough fights to defend abortion rights, expand access to affordable healthcare, and protect workers’ rights.

She doesn’t fit the “typical” mold. Lauren is running as a working mom who knows what it means to raise a family while the cost of living continues to skyrocket. She’s been told to wait her turn and that she shouldn’t run for office — but she’s exactly the type of leader that people have been looking for.
On top of caring for her family, Lauren has spent her career advocating for her community as a Chief Public Affairs Officer for Planned Parenthood Mar Monte, the nation’s largest affiliate. She’s helped lead efforts to provide lifesaving care to thousands of people, expand access to healthcare in rural areas, and push back against Trump’s devastating federal cuts.
Lauren has also served in state leadership. As chair of the California Commission on the Status of Women and Girls, she helped launch California’s first Women’s Economic Recovery Grant Program during COVID-19 and advanced work on gender equity, economic well-being, and protections for survivors of domestic abuse.
It’s simple: Lauren is running for Congress because she believes we need a new generation of leadership that isn’t afraid to take on the status quo to get results for working-class people. In Congress, she’ll fight for your family like it’s her own as she works to make life affordable, expand access to quality healthcare, improve wages for workers, and protect our rights.
