Last year, James Carville called me a “twerp” during my dust-up with the DNC over primarying ineffective incumbents in safe blue seats with progressive challengers.
Now, after more revelations about Ken Martin’s disastrous tenure at the DNC have come to light, James publicly called on me to step in and lead the national party.
While I appreciate James’ vote of confidence — let me be clear about one thing: I am not running to replace Ken Martin. I am not campaigning for a DNC title. That’s not what any of this is about. This is just an example of how clear the dysfunction at the DNC has become this past year.
