HUGE news! The WA State Senate just voted to pass SB 6346, the Millionaires Tax!
Being a lawmaker can be a tough job, and they don’t hear thank you enough. It’s important that we send our gratitude to our Senators, and urge our Representatives in the House to pass SB 6346, as is.

Here’s what we know about the bill headed to the House:
- Only those receiving more than $1,000,000.00 a year will pay the 9.9% tax. The first $1 million is exempted and it does NOT apply to home or other real estate sales.
- Only an estimated 20,000 people here make that much a year – the top 0.2% of Washingtonians.
- It will raise nearly $3.5 billion a year for education, health care, and other essentials.
- The bill removes sales taxes on some services.
