For most of us, Labor Day probably means an extra day off spent with loved ones around a grill.🌭🍔
But Labor Day didn’t come out of nowhere; it took organizing.
That’s why we have to take a moment to honor our partners in labor. Their support of Emerge’s trainings is invaluable. And they can only support us because of the membership of each and every dues paying worker.
These are the workers who teach our children, keep our grocery stores open, fight our fires, deliver our mail, give us healthcare, and keep us safe when we fly. To make it plain, our society wouldn’t function without them.
And here at Emerge, we recognize labor efforts not just happening around us, but also within us. Emerge is proud to have union representation through SEIU Local 205.
That’s why today, we salute the labor movement. Here’s to training and electing more pro-union candidates!
