Democracy is not a spectator sport. It demands that all of us participate, sometimes playing new roles that the times demand.
It’s National Voter Registration Day. That’s why we are asking our supporters to write in and let us know what they are doing to take civic action in their local communities.
So on Team Democracy, what position do you play? We want to know!
P.S. – Looking for new ways to uplift our democracy in your local area? Click here to sign up for our next Meeting the Moment training happening on September 22. In this free, 90-minute session, you will explore the roles you can play in civic life, where they fit within our democratic system, and practical ways to participate in their communities. Join us!
