I’m fed up with pundits who say the lesson from this election was that a woman should never run again at the top of the ticket. The idea that “America just isn’t ready” to elect a woman President is just flat out not true!
The truth is we need more women running at all levels of government. Women only hold 25% of the 500,000 elected positions in America. We need to do whatever it takes to fight back against Donald Trump and his barbaric agenda. For nearly 20 years, Emerge has always been at the forefront of recruiting, training, and supporting Democratic women up and down the ballot.
Just this year, Emerge left a big imprint on the most consequential election of our lifetime.
