My name is Sam Cornale and I’m the Executive Director of the Democratic National Committee.

We have to make a lot of difficult decisions in politics and I’m writing today to ask for your help to make sure one of the difficult decisions I made recently pays off.

We had a meeting at DNC Headquarters where it was made clear that if we made a few additional unplanned investments, we could make some important inroads across a few key states.

This additional investment isn’t something we budgeted for. I gave the green light anyway.

And the reason I did was because I was betting that Democrats everywhere who understand the stakes of this election would step up to help fund some of these important investments.
