House Republicans just voted to rip health care and food assistance away from millions of people. Their agenda is historically unpopular — and the DNC is targeting 35 vulnerable Republican districts to make sure voters are ready to hold their representatives accountable at the ballot box.
FOUR SEATS WILL GIVE DEMOCRATS SENATE CONTROL.
To win back the Senate majority, Democrats need to defend Jon Ossoff’s seat in Georgia and flip seats in states like North Carolina and Ohio. Democrats’ odds improved after former North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper and former Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown entered races in their states — but we’ve still got an uphill battle in front of us.
If Democrats can win back Congress, we can check Trump’s power and prevent more damage and destruction. But here’s the thing:
REPUBLICANS ARE TRYING TO RIG THE SYSTEM TO STOP US.
Trump and his allies are doing everything they can to keep control of Congress. They’re redrawing congressional maps in states like Texas, where Republicans just passed a map to give themselves five new seats, and Trump recently announced he’d like to “pick up 100 more seats.”
Democrats are fighting back — including redrawing maps in states like California to counter Republicans’ moves in Texas. But the only way we’re going to win this fight and protect our democracy is if we all get involved now.
