As a part of our 'Protect and Resist: first 100 days training and action program,' join us on Wednesdays in the first 100 days to take action together to show up against Trump's illegal, immoral agenda.

We might do things like call representatives, take action to support immigrants or organize leaders to pledge non-compliance to MAGA’s agenda.

The first few weeks into the first 100 days of the Trump administration have already been an onslaught of violence and chaos. White people in particular have an important role to play right now. It is clear that racism is at the core of the MAGA agenda and they rely on the support of a majority white base. This means that fighting white supremacy in white communities is core to how we get out of this political situation.

One of the pillars of the rise of fascism in the 21st century has been the void in the articulation of a humanist alternative in the face of the deepening economic, social, political and environmental crises of our time. In order to develop conceptual and practical frameworks for humanist alternatives and constructive collective action, it is necessary to address and discuss the fundamental transformations needed in economic, social, political, and environmental relations on a national and global scale. It is also necessary to be aware of the long history of anti-humanist discourse and to respond to some of those critiques.

Join us for our monthly West Coast virtual meetings as we gather for a collective organizational response to the challenges facing our Democracy!

As a grassroots collective committed to non-violent action, we are building community, developing strategies and putting structures in place to defend our democracy.

This call is for those of you in Southern, Central and Northern California, Oregon and Washington, working locally in your own areas, to connect regionally. We can benefit from one another's work, share resources, and support each other with our wisdom, experience and passion.

Massive actions like April 5th generate a tremendous amount of energy! We can't let that energy dissipate. We can harness it and turn it into action. We'll break into groups to brainstorm and start planning actions.

We are an action-focused, Indivisible group formed from the Worth Fighting For movement. We are made up of people from across the nation, many in Colorado. We are focused on action rather than just airing political grievances, so please come prepared to talk about what you want to DO to protect vulnerable communities and resist the new administration.

Join SURJ's monthly Abolition Action Hours to take collective action with SURJ and our partners in the fight for racial and economic justice!

In our one-hour gatherings we make calls, sign petitions, send emails, and take online action to close jails, defund police, invest in communities, protect Indigenous rights to land and water, and more! You'll receive training and support throughout the session as well as a community of fellow SURJ members to take action with!

All are welcome whether you're a long-time SURJ member or are just hearing about SURJ for the first time!
