Welcome to the Chase Housing Initiative! I’m thrilled to have you join us as we build a movement focused on affordable housing, equitable communities, and the political power needed to turn our vision into a reality.

As organizers, our role is to empower people like you to be leaders in your own communities. Together, we’ll work on having impactful conversations with your neighbors, growing our movement from the grassroots, and bringing more people into this process to win elections and effect real change.

Our focus on housing is clear: we aim to overcome the obstacles to creating large-scale communities similar to Habitat for Humanity—communities that give people a stake in where they live and a path to sustainable, affordable homeownership. Every Friday, we’ll host an online happy hour event to come together informally, share updates on our accomplishments for the week, discuss our plans for the week ahead, and celebrate our community's spirit and dedication.

We’re calling all dreamers, schemers, and those fed up with the shiny veneer of privilege masking an underbelly of human suffering. It’s time to roll up your sleeves, lace up your boots, and join us in doing something real.

We’re taking a page out of Jimmy Carter’s book—building homes for those the system has left behind—but we’re doing it with a dose of Gonzo grit. Think hammers, nails, and a righteous sense of rebellion. While we build, we’re also plotting resistance—organizing to fight the powers that be with the ferocity of a cornered badger.

Invisible is the movement. Housing is the mission. Resistance is the mantra.

As part of the Powering Progress campaign, this event will explore how the Inflation Reduction Act and similar initiatives can support housing solutions for our communities. We’ll discuss how affordable, secure housing is central to building thriving communities and shaping a better future.

Join us as we dive into community-led housing solutions, including accessible homeownership, and how we can work together to ensure everyone has a place to call home. This event is just the beginning—future sessions will expand to other essential issues, such as reproductive health and gun violence protection.

A new MAGA congress has now taken office, and inauguration is around the corner. Some Democratic electeds are fighting back, while some are capitulating. Corporations and mainstream media are finding ways to obey in advance. But on the ground, we’re seeing the biggest wave of new energy organizing to fight back since 2017.

Join Indivisible co-founders Ezra and Leah for a live discussion about what we’ve learned so far from this new congress and how to prepare for what’s to come.
