Breaking news: The federal government is overturning the 21-year age limit to purchase handguns.

Another day and another move from the federal government to enrich the gun lobby at the expense of our safety.

The only way to counteract this decision is with action at the state level – which is why it’s so extremely critical for us to push for state-based gun violence prevention.

Not just here in Washington, but in the work we’ve already support in our partner states around the country like Oregon, Michigan, and Maine. If not for the work we do together, millions of more Americans would have to live under this dangerous federal government ruling.
