This month, thanks to your grassroots donations, the Alliance for Gun Responsibility distributed hundreds of secure firearm lockboxes to people across Washington. That means hundreds of homes are now safer and fewer potentially deadly tragedies will occur simply because a gun was left unlocked. This is what responsible gun violence prevention looks like in practice and what federal inaction has made necessary.
But we’re still behind on our end-of-month goal, and we need to raise another $3,500 by June 30 to stay on track for the work ahead. If we fall short, we risk losing ground in key communities and delaying life-saving programs like this one.
