It has been a full and eventful session already, and today is the day that will make or break safe storage from passing this year. Please, take 30 seconds out of your day to urge your Representative to hold a vote on HB 1152 TODAY.
The crisis of gun violence is too urgent to be sidelined by legislative scheduling. Our representatives carry a moral obligation to champion safe storage and owner accountability; thus far, however, legislative action has failed to reflect the life-and-death stakes of this issue.
It is essential to reinforce the principle that responsible firearm ownership is inseparable from the duty of safe storage. We can no longer afford to overlook the inherent risks posed by unsecured firearms.
