I just wanted to pop in to remind you about the two hearings happening TOMORROW! Both SB 5098 (Firearms in Sensitive Places) and HB 1163 (Permit to Purchase) are scheduled to be heard in their respective fiscal committees. I’m asking, once again, to help demonstrate your support by sending a letter to your legislators before midnight.
Firearms continue to be the #1 cause of death for children and teens in our country, and we have a real opportunity this session to take meaningful, lifesaving action. Communities are rallying together for actionable change, and these two bills are just that.
We cannot afford to delay until next year – write to your legislators now.
