ACLU Supporter, Project 2025 is a clear and direct path to tyranny.
The proposals in this Project would gut our most fundamental rights – abusing a law from the 1800s to attack abortion access, targeting immigrant communities with mass deportations and raids, weaponizing the Department of Justice against protestors, journalists, and political opponents, and so much more.
In over 900 pages, Project 2025 lays out a dangerous, invasive roadmap to replacing the rule of law with far-right ideals and authoritarianism.
But ACLU Supporter, the ACLU has our own plan for the future.
Our plan for 2025 – and beyond – includes passing real federal protections and expansions of abortion access. We’ll work in school boards and states to protect trans students from discrimination. We’ll make voting easier and more inclusive – and fight to ensure everyone is represented by their district maps. We’ll shut down the ICE detention machine and make meaningful wins for immigrant families in court.
