Join Olympia Indivisible, the WA Indivisible Network, and other activists on Wednesday, July 27th at 7:30pm PT for an important conversation about being a smart abortion activist! Alexa Brenner, Planned Parenthood’s Regional Field Organizer for the Olympia Peninsula & South Sound, will be leading this training titled “Abortion Stigmas and Activism: Smart Messaging, Smart Organizing.”
The Supreme Court threw out the right to bodily autonomy for people who can become pregnant. Yup, that happened. The Dobbs decision has laid bare the stakes in this election. No matter your personal views on the subject of abortion, electing pro-choice candidates at the state and federal level is now critical.
Planned Parenthood’s Alexa Brenner will zero in on how to message and converse about abortion in ways that reduce the stigma abortion care currently faces. Empower yourself to be able to communicate effectively in support of abortion, abortion providers, and abortion seekers!
Alexa will also focus on the most consequential work that all of us who care about reproductive justice and privacy need to pitch in to do from here to the November 8th general election: organizing to elect pro-choice candidates at all levels.
