It’s Libby.
Over the past couple of weeks, our team has been active and out across Washington state! We’re showing up where we need to, having real conversations, and building the kind of community support it will take to win this November.
In Olympia, Tacoma, Seattle, Bellingham, and Vancouver, we stood alongside thousands of Washingtonians at No Kings rallies—loud, visible, and united in rejecting hate.
In Cheney, we hosted a local engagement event, sitting down with voters, answering questions, and ensuring people understood what’s at stake with IL26-001 and IL26-638.
Not only do these events allow us to connect with voters and tell the truth about these initiatives, but they also allow us an opportunity to bring our community together to protect and uplift all of Washington’s students.
This kind of in-person engagement will be vital to our success, but events take time and resources. It costs money to create banners and pamphlets, to rent spaces, and to use audio and video equipment.
We’re building something strong here. Let’s keep it going.
