Initiative 645 to repeal the Millionaire’s Tax is officially headed to the November ballot.
The same Republican donors and special interests who have spent years trying to drag Washington backward are making their next move. Repealing the Millionaires Tax isn’t just about protecting the ultra-rich from paying their fair share. It’s about starving our state of the resources that fund our schools, our communities, and the services Washingtonians count on.
And they’re not stopping there.
Rob McKenna and his allies are investing heavily to reshape our Washington Supreme Court with judges who will side with billionaire interests over Washington values. They know that if they can weaken our courts and repeal policies like the Millionaires Tax, they’ll have a clear path to rolling back years of progress.
This is a coordinated effort to change the direction of our state. Washington Democrats aren’t going to let that happen.
Our organizers are already having conversations with voters across the state, preparing for the toughest fights on the November ballot, and building the coalition we’ll need to defeat Initiative 645, protect our courts, and keep Washington moving forward.
