This could be the year Democrats flip Texas’s Senate seat blue—but it’s going to take all of us.

James Talarico fought through a tough primary in Texas, proving that when we stand up to Trump, focus on working families, and meet voters where they are, we win. 

Now, Republicans are spending massive amounts of money launching attacks designed to defend this seat. They’re not waiting. And neither can we.

Flipping the Senate takes just four seats. Texas may hold the one race that gives Democrats the power to put a check on Trump and his MAGA agenda. That makes James’ race a national frontline, and every action we take matters.

Looking beyond the Senate, we know that taking back the House starts here in Washington. This November, one of the most important races in the entire country will take place in Washington’s 3rd Congressional District. WA-03 is one of just 16 toss-up House seats in the US, and one of 13 held by a Democrat, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez, in a district Trump carried. That means the margin for victory will be razor-thin. 

There’s a lot on the line for us. We’re committed to expanding the map, defending frontline House and Senate races, and electing leaders who will put working families first, not the MAGA agenda.
