Tomorrow is primary day in Michigan, and we’re going all out for Will Lawrence and his platform of Medicare for All, rent freezes, climate justice, and getting corporations out of politics in the home stretch! Can you join us to call white voters in Michigan before they hit the polls?
Will Lawrence (MI-07) is an organizer, coalition-builder, and co-founder of the Sunrise Movement running to represent Michigan Congressional District 7 in Lansing on a platform of affordable housing, healthcare for all, taxing the billionaire class, and ending US support for war overseas. Will is currently leading in nearly every poll, despite hundreds of thousands of dollars in attack ads from CEOs, AIPAC-aligned PACs, and mainstream liberal super PACs.
There are two phonebanks left before polls close: tonight at 6:30pm ET for those who have phonebanked with us before, and tomorrow at 5pm ET for first-timers or anyone who would prefer training.
This race matters for all of us– it’s our chance to send another antiracist movement candidate to the general election in November. Michigan is over 75% white, so we have a responsibility to make sure white voters show up for this working-class fighter.
