As primary season begins to wrap up, we’re shifting our focus to the next phase of this election: defeating Republicans and flipping seats from red to blue.
And for the past several months, Leaders We Deserve has been focused on building a stronger Democratic Party by supporting a new generation of bold, young leaders in key primaries across the country.
That work isn’t stopping. It’s expanding.
We have to elect Democrats who are willing to fight — and we have to defeat Republicans who are making life harder for millions of Americans.
That’s why we’re proud to support candidates like Randy Villegas in California.
Randy isn’t taking corporate PAC money. He’s focused on lowering costs, protecting working families, and delivering the kind of leadership people in his district have been asking for.
It’s working.
Right now, Randy is leading Republican Congressman David Valadao by 4 points.
That isn’t happening by accident.
It’s happening because voters — especially young voters — are hungry for leaders who understand what it’s like to live paycheck to paycheck, who share their values, and who aren’t beholden to wealthy special interests.

We’re working to raise $100,000 before midnight on July 31 so we can help candidates like Randy communicate with voters, organize on the ground, and defeat Republicans in some of the most competitive races in the country.
