Immigration agents’ lawlessness is rampant, impacting communities from coast to coast. Families are living in fear as agents swarm our streets, threaten our neighbors, and abuse thousands without consequence.
We can’t continue like this. We need a complete reset of our immigration system, including replacing ICE with a fair, efficient, and humane immigration management system that offers a path to citizenship for our loved ones and neighbors.
The Dream and Promise Act is a step towards making the American dream a reality. It would mean protection from deportation and separation for millions of families – because children in our country shouldn’t have to live in fear of losing a parent to ICE’s violence, detention, and deportation. It has bipartisan support – and is just waiting to be brought to a vote.
