Our candidates have been absolutely crushing it on the campaign trail and in their elections. They’re giving the establishment a run for their money (literally) and proving that people across the country are done with the same tired politics that have failed them for decades. They’re hungry for something better. We just beat the establishment twice in California. First by propelling Randy Villegas to victory in his competitive primary, despite him running against a conservative Democrat who had the backing of the DCCC and outspent him by over $2 million. And then with our endorsed candidate Mai Vang successfully beating an 81 year old asleep at the wheel incumbent for first place in her primary.
Leaders We Deserve is already 41 endorsements deep this cycle, and we’re not done.
There are more endorsements on the way, and more races to win. In the next week alone, 6 of our candidates will be on the ballot.
And listen, we can’t win every single race we take on. Some of them will be tougher than others. There’s no denying that we’re up against establishment-backed candidates and special interests with deep pockets.
But this movement has already proven we can win, we just need the fuel to keep going. Because when we endorse a candidate, we make a real commitment. To help them break through the noise, support their organizing programs, and back them with the grassroots resources it takes to actually compete. We’re with them until the very end, and we’re proud to deliver for our candidates — but none of it happens without hitting our goals.
