Call to Action! Public Comment Needed before September 3

Article: Trump’s VA Rule Would Ban Abortion Care for Veterans—Your Voice Can Stop It

What this rule would do

If finalized, the VA’s new rule would:

Eliminate access to abortion care for veterans, even in cases of rape, incest, or threats to the life or health of the pregnant person.
Ban VA doctors from even talking to their patients about abortion options.
Strip coverage from CHAMPVA recipients, who include spouses and dependents of disabled veterans.

This isn’t about the law. It’s about ideology. The Biden-era policy the Trump Administration is trying to reverse was grounded in evidence-based medicine, legal precedent, and the urgent health needs of veterans.

This proposed rule is a cruel reversal meant to appease Christian nationalist power brokers—not to protect veterans.
