¡Chinga La Migra! 17th Annual Trivia Night was a huge success!
Your support made for an unforgettable evening of singing, trivia, and celebration – and it also raised the most funds ever for the fellows’ Washington D.C. trip.
Board Member Derek Richards tickled the ivories, and countless alumni, board members, and fellows came together to make the event possible, ensuring scholarships so that the entire class can participate.
While the Spirit of ’12 held onto their reigning champion title (three-peat champions), the competition was fierce, friendly, and full of fun — with team names like ¡Chinga La Migra! and “Marco Rubio’s 4th Job,” you just knew it was going to be a good night. And everyone walked away a winner in some way.
Thank you for joining us and supporting the Class of 2026!
And if you’ve seen any of the footage or photos, you’re probably feeling a little bit of FOMO right now. Don’t worry, we have a cure for that, below!
-Emily

Alumni Long Beach Weekend: April 24 – April 26
Long Beach Alumni weekend is next month! Join us from Friday, April 24 – Sunday, April 26, for a weekend of coastal charm and impactful learning as WAIDF returns to the Adrift Hotel in Long Beach, Washington.
WAIDF Alumni and Adrift Hospitality’s Founder and CEO Tiffany Turner has offered a special WAIDF Discount Code, and together, with Alumni, Madeline Matson, Director at Rural Assembly, they have put on an amazing programming weekend featuring panels on rural healthcare, local government, and rural schools and childcare, along with a tour of the Port of Chinook and a visit to Ilwaco Cider Co. Plus, we’ll have sessions on building rural resilience and a stop at the Chinook or Naselle Youth Camp.
Sign up today! The discount code for Adrift Hotel & Spa will be shared upon registration.
