No on 2109 – August 27, 2024

Friend,

Hedge fund millionaire Brian Heywood spent millions to put Initiative 2109 on the ballot so he and his ultra-rich friends can avoid paying what they owe.

But for the rest of us, there’s more at stake. Much more. If I-2109 passes, it will:

❌ Cut funding from education and school construction

❌ Worsen the childcare crisis

❌ Cost 10,000+ jobs in Washington state

❌ Shift tax pressure onto middle- and low-income families

❌ Leave us with the least fair tax code in the nation (again)

This initiative would be devastating for Washington state’s schools, economy, and families. Together, we need to work together to defeat this initiative.
