Nick Brown for Attorney General – November 8, 2024

Since day one of my campaign for Attorney General, I have promised to be a staunch and unyielding champion for Washingtonians’ human rights. 

Together, we built a campaign committed to building a safer Washington for all, no matter your age, race, gender, who you love, or where you live. I have always said that every Washingtonian will have a seat at the table in my Attorney General’s Office.

I promise you that I will lead with these values on Day One as Washington’s next Attorney General — no matter what happens in the White House.

When it comes to protecting Washingtonians from unjust and illegal actions by President Trump, my team and I are prepared. Our office will be the first and last line of defense for abortion access, LGBTQ+ rights, environmental protections, and so much more over the next four years, and we are ready to do anything needed to safeguard Washingtonians’ freedoms.

Let me be extremely clear. Entering the Attorney General’s office during a second Trump administration is a position I take with a sense of deep responsibility. I will never give a single inch to Trump or any far-right extremist who tries to strip Washingtonians of our nation-leading human rights protections or erode our democracy.

I want to reiterate — every Washingtonian is welcome and valued here, and I will do everything in my power to protect you, your loved ones, and our friends and neighbors across our great state.

From my time on the campaign trail over the last year and a half, I know there’s more that unites us than divides us, Kendall. Together, we will forge a path forward.
