Hello Democrats,
Whether you’re a volunteer or a full-time campaign staffer, it’s important now more than ever to get out, engage with people in your community, and train to lead successful Democratic campaigns this year.
Thank you to those who applied to the North Carolina NextWave Southern Regional Bootcamp in North Carolina! The application for NextWave NC has now closed, but we will hold three additional training programs for the West, East, and Midwest later this year. We will share details for these programs as they’re announced, so be on the lookout for those.
We are also excited to announce our Campaign Readiness Finance Bootcamp, a free virtual training that will take place on April 2 and 3, 2026. Spots are limited, so we encourage current or aspiring campaign finance professionals to apply as soon as possible.
Keep reading to learn more about our Finance Bootcamp, Local Listeners Bootcamp, voter registration, as well as job opportunities in the Democratic ecosystem.
Training Announcements 📣

Campaign Readiness Bootcamp: Finance 📋
The DNC and DCCC are holding a Campaign Readiness Bootcamp, a staffing pipeline program to support states in their recruitment, training, and hiring diverse, talented, and local staff for specific roles for coordinated campaigns. This bootcamp is intended for current or aspiring campaign finance professionals who want to further develop their skills and learn from experts in the field.
The training will be held virtually on April 2 and 3, 2026. After applicants complete the bootcamp, we will share the resumes of job-seeking participants with teams looking for candidates to fill finance positions within state parties and coordinated campaigns.
This training will be free to attend, but spots are limited. Applicants will be considered on a rolling basis, and early applications are strongly encouraged. This application will be open until Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Local Listener Wrap-Up and Phone Bank
In January, the DNC began our Local Listeners Bootcamp, our seven-week virtual training series focused on active listening and community organizing. We had hundreds of volunteers join us across the country for this training series to learn how they can make a difference and build bridges in their communities.
As our Local Listeners Program comes to a close this week, we want to thank everyone who joined us to develop the skills to have meaningful conversations in their communities. If you missed it, we have uploaded the recordings of each session to our Victory Vault, which you can request access to.
Want to connect with voters across the country? You can join the DNC Call Crew for a two-hour Local Listeners phone bank and have meaningful conversations with infrequent voters in battleground districts about the issues and values important to them.
National Voter Registration Week of Action
The DNC is organizing a National Voter Registration Week of Action from March 27 to April 3. We are partnering with organizations and volunteers across the country to host voter registration drives. You can sign up to host a drive here.
Prepare to run a voter registration drive by attending one of our training sessions on how to host a voter registration drive on March 11, March 18, and March 23 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. Learn more about how you can host a voter registration drive here.
