Turn That Anger Into Action
You’re watching it happen. Our democracy is under attack. ICE is tearing apart families and communities. This administration has no guardrails and answers to no one. If you’re fed up and ready to fight back, the most powerful thing you can do is run for office or help someone who will.
Spark: Launch is our free program designed specifically for first-time candidates who are done waiting and are ready to run. It covers everything you need (and nothing you don’t) to launch a campaign, from filing deadlines to building your team to making a plan.
Know someone who’s been saying “I should run”? Send this to them. Have you been thinking about it? The time is now.

NDTC Learner Spotlight 🔦
Erica Deuso just started her term as Pennsylvania’s first openly transgender mayor. She won in Downingtown by showing up as a problem-solver focused on the community she’s called home since 2007. Her victory proves what we already know: voters respond to candidates who listen, take action, and put their people first. For Democrats running in 2026, Erica’s win is a reminder that authenticity and local credibility beat “culture war” noise.

We’re Not Just Training Candidates. We’re Building Entire Teams That Win Races.
You can’t win a campaign alone. You need a team. That’s why NDTC doesn’t just train candidates. We train the staff who help them win. Our latest Substack breaks down why training entire campaign teams creates a multiplier effect, and how our free resources can get anyone campaign-ready.

Why this story matters:
The former Alaska Representative and first Alaska Native to serve in Congress just announced she’s challenging Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan in 2026. Democrats need to flip four Senate seats to take the majority, and Peltola’s willingness to take on a vulnerable incumbent is exactly the kind of fight that makes that possible.

Why this story matters:
Moore joins a movement of Democrats fighting back against years of GOP gerrymandering by using the same tools Republicans have weaponized for decades. Moore wants the Democratic-controlled legislature to vote on new district lines, and while some in the party worry about mid-decade redistricting backfiring, others say it’s past time to stop bringing a knife to a gunfight.
