THE ACTIVIST
In 2025, over 2.4 million people joined the ACLU community in taking action online to protect our rights – from signing petitions to sending messages directly to their elected officials and other key decision-makers to demand change.
We’re building on that momentum in 2026 – pushing to stop President Trump’s illegal boat strikes, stop ICE’s cruelty against our immigrant friends and neighbors, and pass legislation that strengthens the protections of our Constitution.

THE VOLUNTEER
Our volunteer force is mighty, with over 170,000 first-time volunteers joining us since Election Day 2024 alone.
With so much to work toward in the year ahead – including the 2026 midterm elections – our volunteer team is more active than ever, making calls and sending texts to engage our communities, while preparing to safeguard our elections and get out the vote this fall.
