Dear fellow MoveOn member,
Over the past year, the team at Inequality Media has been testing which messages break through to—and persuade—the most people, whether they’re Democrats, Independents, or Trump voters. We’ve honed how to explain complex economic issues in ways that significantly shift opinions—even among people who support Trump.
And it’s working. We’re helping to connect the dots for millions of people. Some of our recent videos are changing viewers’ opinions on key issues by double digits. That’s not a typo—we’re talking about 10-, 11-, even 12-point swings on issues like such as political corruption, corporate price gouging, and immigration.
Our explainers, reaction videos, and other posts reach millions of people each week—all told, they’ve been viewed more than 1 BILLION times, including by hundreds of millions of Independents and Trump supporters. And right now, we have a window we can’t afford to miss.
Trump’s economic approval is in the toilet. His own voters are turning against him.1 People are flooding town halls, angry about rising costs and broken promises.
But anger alone won’t end the fascist takeover of our country and the ever-greater concentration of wealth in America (which, of course, go hand in hand). People need to understand what’s happening and why.
When Trump’s tariffs drive up prices, my team at Inequality Media explains exactly how his policies work and who benefits. When billionaires get richer while working families fall further behind, we show the receipts. When Trump mocks the affordability crisis, we make sure millions see it through compelling viral videos that cut through the noise.
Here’s the challenge: Inequality Media operates on a shoestring budget compared to the right-wing propaganda machine. But we punch well above our weight because the team has mastered digital persuasion and distribution—reaching people, including young folks, where they are and changing how they see the world.
With Trump’s credibility collapsing, now is the moment when we need to ramp up dramatically. That means producing daily videos exposing how Trump’s policies hurt working families, explaining the affordability crisis in ways that make crystal clear who’s responsible, and countering right-wing disinformation with facts that stick.
MoveOn members have been a part of Inequality Media from the beginning. And we need your help now.
Want to support MoveOn’s work? Donald Trump and his MAGA allies expect us to give up. But we will not give them what they want.
