Even during the holiday season, immigrant and refugee communities continue to face the violence of a mass detention and deportation system.
And following reports that the Trump Administration plans to target churches with large immigrant congregations¹, it’s clear that as these attacks on our communities increase, so does the need for support.
At WAISN, our advocacy is intentional and rooted in the liberation of Washington’s immigrant and refugee communities. One of the most immediate and direct ways we do this is through the Fair Fight Bond Fund – the only community-sourced immigration bond fund in the Pacific Northwest, which has helped free more than 132 people from immigration detention to date.
The Bond Fund makes it possible for individuals to reunite with their families, regain some stability, and be better equipped to win their immigration cases from outside of detention.
Freedom from immigration detention is critical in keeping families together. When someone is released from detention they are far more able to secure legal representation and build their case for remaining with their families.
Every dollar in the Fair Fight Bond Fund comes directly from community members. That means community members like yourself make this life-saving work possible, and right now the need is greater than ever.

Incluso durante la temporada navideña, nuestras comunidades de inmigrantes y refugiados siguen enfrentándose a la violencia de un sistema de detenciones y deportaciones masivas.
Además, tras los informes de que la Administración Trump planea atacar a las iglesias con grandes congregaciones de inmigrantes¹, está claro que, a medida que aumentan estos ataques contra nuestras comunidades, también aumenta la necesidad de apoyo.
En WAISN, nuestra defensa es intencional y está basada en la liberación de las comunidades de inmigrantes y refugiados de Washington. Una de las formas más inmediatas y directas en que lo hacemos es a través del Fondo de Fianza Lucha Justa, el único fondo comunitario para fianzas de inmigración en el noroeste del Pacífico, que hasta el día de hoy ha ayudado a liberar a más de 132 personas de los centros de detención de inmigrantes.
El Fondo de Fianzas permite a las personas reunirse con sus familias, recuperar cierta estabilidad y estar mejor preparadas para ganar sus casos de inmigración desde fuera del centro de detención. La libertad de la detención migratoria es esencial para mantener a las familias unidas. Cuando alguien es liberado de la detención, tiene muchas más posibilidades de conseguir representación legal y preparar su caso para permanecer con su familia.
Cada dólar del Fondo de Fianza Lucha Justa viene directamente de la comunidad. Esto significa que personas como usted hacen posible este trabajo que salva vidas, y ahora mismo la necesidad es más grande que nunca.
