From the northern Cascades, Mt. Rainier, and Puget Sound to the Columbia River Gorge and the rolling hills of Eastern Washington: today and every day, we celebrate the unmatched beauty of our state and the deep responsibility we share to protect it.
Here in our Washington, we are proud to have bold Democratic leaders who are pushing climate action forward—from strengthening clean energy laws to protecting biodiversity, tribal rights, and public lands.
But now, our progress is under attack.
The Trump administration in the other Washington just launched a direct assault on our state’s sovereignty by challenging 26 new state laws, including environmental protections like the Climate Commitment Act, worker safety measures, and more. These are laws that defend our people, our planet, and our future. And Trump wants them overturned.
He’s already trying to strip funding from Washington because of our sanctuary policies. He’s furious that we refuse to bow to his hateful, anti-immigrant, anti-environment agenda.
That’s why it’s so important we keep our Democratic, pro-climate, pro-people champions in Congress and succeed in gaining a Democratic supermajority. We must defend the Earth, our communities, and our rights from Trump, Musk, and the extremist Republicans eager to roll back everything we’ve fought for.
