We are going to highlight different unions throughout this month. First up….
Union Spotlight: UFCW 3000
A new local organization, Off-Screen Community Outreach, is organizing a concert to raise money for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund. The concert will take place this Sunday, 9/7 from 6-9pm at the Howard Amon Park fingernail structure in Richland.
My name is Michelle Ramirez and I work with the Latino Community Fund as a youth organizer in the Tri-Cities area. I wanted to share with you this open fellowship opportunity for youth ages 19-24 in Franklin County for our Alianza Fellowship Program, a youth-led program that connects leaders to unlock their leadership potential and bring change to their communities.

We received 388 items for Martha’s Cupboard. Multi-packs, of which there were MANY (socks, receiving blankets, soap, toothbrushes, 8 packs of toilet paper, etc., etc., etc.) were counted as a single item. A very kind lady also donated $100. cash.
Join us this FRIDAY, Sept 5th 4-6pm for the start of our monthly social, First Fridays!! We will be at Moonshot Brewery in Kennewick. There are alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. Hope you can make it out, if not, next month.
