We just launched a big new initiative: flooding swing districts with handwritten postcards calling out Republicans for gutting health care to give billionaires a tax break.
We’re going after some of the most vulnerable Republicans in the entire country—including members of Congress who won their elections by razor-thin margins in 2024.
These are some of the most flippable districts in the country, and if we win them next year, Democrats will take control of the House.
The path to victory is clear: relentlessly call out these Republicans for voting for Donald Trump’s budget bill, which is hugely unpopular, to ensure their constituents know where they stand.1 But here’s the bad news: About half of all voters haven’t heard about the impacts of this bill … yet.2
That’s why we are launching our big new postcard project. Working together, we can arm voters with the truth and expose these supposedly “moderate” Republicans for who they really are: billionaire bootlickers who voted to kick their own constituents off their health care in order to give billionaires even more money.
We know this will work, so we need your help to purchase postcards, pay for postage, host training for volunteers, and run the data systems we need to carefully target the correct voters in the right districts.

Here’s how it works.
First, we recruit MoveOn members (like you!) all across the country to host postcard parties.
Next, we train the party hosts on how to recruit volunteers to their postcard party and how to effectively hold their party.
Then, we ship the postcards to the party host (with the stamps already attached!).
Finally, volunteers write personalized postcards to key voters in the most critical districts, sharing their personal stories and encouraging constituents to vote these Republicans out next year.
Multiply this over and over again across the country, and the result is tens of thousands of powerful, personalized postcards that expose Republican cruelty.
It’s a powerful grassroots way to bring communities together, take action, expose the GOP, and remind people what’s at stake in the 2026 election.
And it’s effective, too. Published academic research shows that postcard campaigns can motivate tens of thousands of voters to turn out to vote who otherwise would have stayed home.3 And in swing districts where the margin of victory is razor-thin, every single vote—and every single voter—matters.

We’ve also launched hard-hitting billboards in the districts, and we’ve kicked off our “Won’t Back Down” tour alongside progressive powerhouses like Senator Elizabeth Warren to get out our message in these areas.
When messaging is repeated and layered through different tactics, it’s more likely to stick.
