WA Institute for a Democratic Future – June 13, 2025

On behalf of the Class of 2025, we would like to invite you to join us on Saturday, June 28, to celebrate our graduation.

It’s a bittersweet day for us — it’s our final day of our program and marks the end of a long yet exciting fellowship journey.

Every year is the best class, we are absolutely no exception.

Here are the Top 10 reasons we’re the best class:

#1 I promise you’ve never seen a more matching mug than Sarah and Rachel listening skeptically and thoughtfully.

#2 Our class has the friendliest future Presidential Chief of Staff. (You should come and meet Kele.)

#3 We spot each other in the wild on a regular basis – we’re motivated, involved, and happy to be just those things.

#4 We do our best to stay hip and young (🫶 millennial hand-heart where?!)

#5 We ❤️love supporting local businesses!

#6 Honestly, we’re just a really gorgeous bunch. (You’re welcome.)

#7 Our class is willing to see all sides of an argument, and even make a convincingly Republican campaign plan – we do whatever it takes to WIN. Doosey would win a campaign any year with these Dawgs behind him

#8 We’re animal lovers – it really doesn’t get better than that.

#9 We really love to learn! 

#10  Most importantly, we love this program, each other, and democracy!!

For all the reasons each of us joined the Washington Institute for a Democratic Future, we are leaving, unequivocally, with a strong community filled with joy for one another’s spirits, a celebration of our talents, and rocket fuel for our dreams.
