Let me say this as clearly as I can:
Any Democrat who supports war with Iran needs to be primaried. Period.
We’re done playing nice while politicians sell out our future and put our lives at risk. We grew up with two disastrous wars that drained trillions of dollars, killed hundreds of thousands, and left our generation traumatized. Now they want to do it all over again?
No. We are not going back.
We’ve seen too many Democrats hedging — or worse, openly signaling support for a Trump-backed war with Iran. So today, I’m asking folks like you to stand with me and make this personal for every elected Democrat even thinking about backing this war:
We’ve heard all the talk about “ending forever wars.” But now, when it matters most, some Democrats are folding — and sounding more like Trump than true leaders. If they’re willing to spend trillions to bomb another country, but won’t lift a finger to guarantee healthcare, housing, or education for the American people — they don’t belong in office.
That’s why I co-founded Leaders We Deserve. We’re not just fighting Republicans — we’re holding every failed politician accountable. We’re recruiting and electing young, unapologetically progressive candidates who won’t rubber-stamp the next endless war. And we’re building a deep well of grassroots power to challenge anyone who does.
This pledge is just the beginning. But it’s how we show them we’re serious. That we’ve had enough. That we’re ready for a better future — one that invests in people, not war.
