Newark Mayor Ras Baraka was arrested and detained by ICE. He was accompanied by Reps. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-N.J.), Rob Menendez (D-N.J.) and LaMonica McIver (D-N.J.) as they were attempting to exercise their oversight authority over a migrant detention facility.

This gives those nearby a way to respond that's faster than social media and doesn't rely on being on your phone all the time. 🛡️Though it's a small tool, it helps combat quiet threats by creating visible community action, solidarity, and support.
