You’ve probably seen this by now, but members of Congress like Marjorie Taylor Greene seemed to have magically known when to buy stocks before Trump announced that he would be pausing his economy-wrecking tariffs for 90 days.
I’m pretty sure there are laws against this kind of thing. But given the chaotic, corrupt hellhole our government has become, does that even matter?
Here’s the bottom line: We are sick and tired of the same old politicians who are only in office to enrich themselves and reward their wealthy friends and backers.
We need new leaders who understand what it’s like for real people in this country.
We need more elected officials like Maxwell Frost – the first-ever Gen Z member of Congress – who drove for Uber to help make ends meet on the campaign trail.
And we need fewer politicians like Marjorie Taylor Greene, who only represent the same old corrupt status quo as they peddle their extreme and dangerous rhetoric.
