We’re just a little over two months out until Election Day, and we’re leaving it all on the field. Sign up to join a virtual phone bank this Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m. ET/6 CT/5 MT/4 PT!

Dear MoveOn member,
As we approach the upcoming election, it is crucial that we come together to fight back against the rise of authoritarianism and ensure that our voices are heard. Vice President Kamala Harris represents the joy and hope of a different future for our country, and it is imperative that we rally behind her to keep Trump out of the White House and prevent a MAGA majority in the House and the Senate.
Our democracy, our freedoms, and our futures are under threat. Despite what the polls may say—whether Democrats are up or down from one week to the next—nothing is a guarantee. We’re leaving it all on the field, and we’re taking every opportunity to take action to energize voters around Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. We’re calling voters in key swing states who are primed to support Democrats and just need an extra push to go out and vote. Will you sign up to join a virtual phone bank on Thursday, September 5 at 7 p.m. ET/6 CT/5 MT/4 PT?

Never made calls to voters before? No worries: There will be a short training at the beginning of the phone bank session, and MoveOn staff will be available to support you the whole way through. Team work makes the dream work!

This will be an election won on the margins. We cannot afford another Trump presidency, and as VP Harris has already said: “We will not go back.”1
Our team has spent countless hours figuring out a targeted approach to voter contact that is designed to reach “surge voters”: Democrats who likely support Vice President Harris but don’t vote consistently and probably need a little extra nudge to be motivated to turn out in November. You could be the very difference between these pivotal voters’ sitting on the sidelines or making the conscious decision to vote (no pressure!). Making calls is an effective, proven method of voter contact, and it requires time, work, and persistence from all of us.

Together, we can keep up this Kamala-mentum to win in November and create a better future for all of us.
