Really great news coming out of Olympia today! Two key components of the Alliance’s 2025 Legislative Agenda: Permit to Purchase (SHB 1163) and Restricting Weapons in Certain Public Areas (SSB 5098) have passed out of their respective committees and are moving forward towards full floor votes. This is a significant step in our fight to reduce gun violence and keep families and communities safe across Washington.
Just like when this legislation was in their respective committees, your voice and support are crucial to ensure these lifesaving policies become law. Please help us in our fight to prevent further gun violence by sending a message to the committee members, thanking them for their support, and urging them to vote YES when these commonsense gun safety bills come up to the floor.
