Trump talked a lot during his speech to a joint session of Congress.
But he can’t change the facts: After one month, Trump has broken nearly every campaign promise he made last year:
- He promised to bring down costs – but prices are climbing and economists predict “a serious Trump recession.”
- He promised no cuts to Social Security and Medicaid – but Republicans in Congress want to slash Medicaid and Elon Musk is going after Social Security.
- He promised to “make America affordable again” – but his reckless trade war with Canada and Mexico is going to make everything more expensive.
And people are waking up! More and more Trump voters are expressing regret for their choice in November. From our streets to our National Parks, Americans of all ages and backgrounds are standing up against the illegal firings of thousands of our friends and neighbors.
Trump can’t change the facts and he can’t silence the growing tidal wave of voices speaking out against his “billionaires first” agenda.
